Paradise Bay is a desirable 55+ Mobile Home community in Bradenton. The community is an active waterfront park along the shoreline of Sarasota Bay and offers lots of activities including heated pool, shuffleboard, pickleball, bocce ball, clubhouse, library, community laundry and a woodworking shop. Gazebos and benches line the waterfront where you can watch the pelicans and enjoy the sunsets over Anna Maria Island and Longboat pass to the West. It is located one mile from the quaint & historic fishing town of Cortez, and two miles from white sandy beaches of Anna Maria Island and Coquina Beach.

Rental Home Description

Our rental home at 32-1st Street in Paradise Bay Estates is a double-wide model about 1 block from the bay.  It has 2 bedrooms and two baths, both with Queen beds.  The living area features a fully equipped kitchen / dining / living room living room with a queen sleeper sofa.  There is a full-sized refrigerator, electric range, and a dishwasher.  The sun room on the lower level has an extra full-size futon sofa, a dining set, a full-size washer & dryer, a small maintenance shop, and a covered carport which makes a lovely patio. The association requires a 30-day minimum rental and an application submitted directly to the Paradise Bay office along with a $150 application fee to Paradise Bay Estates.  NO PETS OR SMOKERS please.

Accommodation Detail: This home is furnished.  It includes a fully equipped kitchen, all bedding, linens, and beach towels. Beach chairs and umbrellas are in the padlocked shed behind the house. Please use the portable gas grill by rolling it to the end of the carport near the sidewalk.  Our rates include all utilities, cable TV, and WIFI.  There is a 42″ TV in the living room and a 55″ TV in the master bedroom.  DVD player, Roku and streaming are available.  If you wish to customize your programs, you can download your specific home cable TV App, and use your UN & PW to get all the stations you that subscribe to from your home.   Please make use of the photos and the links have provided for this home and the surrounding community.  We may be unable to do in-person showings due to existing bookings, but we are happy to answer any questions you may have.

Rate & Fee Detail: Rates are based on 1 or 2 persons, but one person is required to be 55 or older. The community is governed by an association.  Please respect this, and advise the Paradise Bay office if any additional occupants will be staying. Your guests are always welcome, but additional persons staying in the unit for a period of longer than 7 days may be considered additional occupants and subject to minimal additional pass-thru association rental fees and /or application process. The occupancy rental rates listed here do not reflect fees, taxes, or other charges cleaning fee ($150), the ont time $150 application fee (paid directly to Paradise Bay along with your application), and Sales / Resort Taxes (12%) that may be collected, and by the owner (on rentals less than 6 months).  A security deposit may be required, unless you are a Paradise Bay resident or previous renter.   Damages beyond normal wear are your financial responsibility.  Please contact us promptly so we can address maintenance needs or damages if they occur during your stay.  After your departure, unresolved damage remedies will be referred for collection.

Cancellation Policy: Full refund of prepaid deposit 4 more weeks prior to arrival, 50% of prepaid deposit 2 to 4 weeks prior to arrival.

To Reserve:  Please use our calendar to plan a 30-day minimum rental and accommodate other 30-day rentals.  Use the pro-rated daily rate listed for any days in addition to your monthly accommodation if necesary.  Then call Brad Stein @ 717 873-4110 / bstein6130@aol.com to confirm availbility and submit a $1000 deposit to guarantee your reservation.  Reservations are not guaranteed until a deposit is received.  The remaining cost of your stay (plus any tax & fees) are due 48 hours prior your arrival.  All first time renters will need to use the forms (attached below) and submit them directly to the Paradise Bay Office: 

  1.  “Application for Occupancy / Renter” form – submit along with a check made payable to “paradise Bay Estates” for $150 (non-refundable for background check).  You will be notified in a few days of your approval.
  2.  “HUD Survey of Age”
  3.  “Simple Rental Agreement”
  4.  A copy of your driver’s license:
